16 februari Day&Night Report 13 14 15 FebFeb 13, the last shift with boss Brenda, made a silly mistake of 40 dollars drive-off, that shouldn't have happened after she's being pissy with the high flow of drive-off loss last weeks and a surprisingly huge amount of wastage of chips and chocs only because of our carelessness with the store rotation.
Anyway, apart from that, Brenda is as normal kindly appreciate my goodness as a helpful reliever, comparing to the previous one whom she had bad impression. She said she's gonna talk good for me.
At night time, I watched Cursive pieremed at Adelaide Festival Centre by Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, which I will write in details later.
After the show, there was something valuable to be remembered, unescapably it was about a girl whom keep gazing me, and in those moments, I'm pretty sure that both of us have dipped into each other's heart, soul, right spot on that word.
However, I didn't talk to her, so did she, coz I thought it might still be too early. Anyway I knew which stop does she get off, so probably some time later we might be able to meet again, and by then I won't miss this chance.
14 Feb It was a bloody scorcher, and I stayed inside unlike most should do. a plain Valentine, I'm a lazy guy, i didn't even go to work as my stomach is in a bad mood. I slept over 20 hrs on that day.
15 Feb Well well well, this was the strictly defined last shift of me at Largs Bay, each of my mates, Jess and Lee had a different way of saying goodbye to me, which I was so happy for and will write more later.
12 februari Walter's Stories, PART 1It was a bloody exciting but normal look night when I first met Walter, whom gives me the first impression of a deadly old man with a crunchy voice :P, kidding, he looks alright, apparently normal though his top hair has gone half.
As tall as a totum, plain face and huge chin. The slim young man started with an no-typical Aussie accent, however later I might fiind that he has an Eurpoean originality, but the accent isn't strong enough to be Aussie honestly, and the spot-on is that he managed to prounce my name just as soon as I told him, unlike normally I'l have to tutor most of people who are so kindly wishing to know my name but give up eventually.
He's one of those gangs everybody will love to talk to, their kindness just naturally flatter out, like him.
He couldn't quite get his head around the business we're doing, like calculating, drive-offs even price change, but I like him more than some others whom does well. Who cares, I'm not the boss, I'm trying my best to keep the shop running ;)
Till now, he's much better than before.
He didn't really talk a lot about himself untill recent weeks, before that we just had so much fun talking about something I can not even remember now, but for sure it's got to be something related to our shop, to the diary or the people whom are around us.
Walter has the ability to recognise whether a guy is on his own side or not, which becomes real difficult for me. He told me a lot about guys that I havent' had a chance or probably will never have a chance to meet. And he is not afarid of expressing his good graces or dislike, honestly only because of that, I would call him a brave man, a man that of his words.

Day&Night Report 12 FebNothing but facing the com untill Neal back home, together with his lovely wife Sarah.
They drove me to a Vietnamese restaurant called Sing Sing, it was located within Vietnamese area, buried in piles of living houses and units, doesn't look like a descent market life place. However, the business looks brilliant.
Apparently I enjoyed the food on a gut level, I had a Special Combination Soup, which consits of beef ball and many other stuff in beef soup, typical Vietnam food, but in a real nice flavor with considerably best-ever sauce in my life ever tasted. It might not be that easy for you guys to imagine how huge that bowl is, when we finished, I couldn't walk properly, not even able to sit at the back in the car.
Just about we were leaving, Sarah said "look at that cute girl." coz there was a little baby sitting their with her family, and at that moment, I noticed the father's face, which was shitty.
Nothing racism, but to cherish his daughter shouldn't have gained such reaction.
By the way, if any of you are living in Queensland, there's another Sing Sing availiable here
After that, I was dragged to Sakura, the Sushi Bar where Sarah works, and had a chat with guys there, however coudln't really afford it after 36 hrs no sleep, so went straight back home and lied down on my bed without hesitation. 11 februari Day & Night Report 11 FebCommisioned by self-responsibility.
Written in the moring on a cloudy Sunday, with a pain in the side of my right-hand ring finger nail.
Yet it's still hitting the keyboard. As usual, let me start this tag called Day & Night Report just to record the painfully dry stuff that I'm doing every single day, I'v tried this before though it's never been on the right track. For many many times that I'v been dumping blogs, yet someday those trash might still float on beyond wireless or plug-in digital river, hope it's not polluting anything in the near future. Actually under the consideration of self-responsibility, I should clean them myself, however it won't be that tidy even it's done properly, so forget it, I told myself and sneaked out the room for a bottle of juice. I had my longest shift ever last night, like hell. The shop was clean and need to be feeded with some choc and bottles of drinks, especially red bulls, they are dismal. Anyway, it's considerably quiet regarding the amount of customers, that's why I got a drunk dude came to me thinking his scorn to my easygoing over-night shift, for sure I fought back to tell him that I'm the hardest working staff (comments in our store diary can prove that, though I used to be a naughty boy tutoring my T-bone committed work mate some Chinese swearwords.) However, that guy didn't bring me down, actually he politely expressed his understanding of my hard work by saying "take it easy mate" yet that might not be the real solid truth from heart. Don't you fool me again? Gimme a break. Alright, let's get back to something real precious to be memorized, which is Walter's Stories, so go and check it out, he told me a lot about his childhood, and left me his number warning me to drop by his house on either Tue and Wed just to swap mine painful childhood, which I'd really love to make it on Wed, the night after the gorgeous Cursive by Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan. We'll see how would that go. And just before that, I racked my brains in scheming to scare Walter by sticking my face on the window and making a face in his shift. However I failed coz he was apparently having fun chatting with a group of young people, guys and girls. Later I confirmed with him about this scene and found out that he has absolutely no idea about it, which means he didn't even see me having this brilliant try, maybe it was a poor plan back to its beginning, (I actually learned it from Lee at Largs Bay whom plays it every Wed's night and I'm kinda used to it and have to pretend to be caught by that deal so that both of us are entertained :P) So what else can I do, for sure I just went back and planning another try, but this time he caught me first, I failed again. Eventually I decided to give up and have to more precisely, "Guess what, u'v just missed my girl-friend, her best friend and her sister, they are here to check you out coz I'v been talking about you these days." "Oh, no I was out there trying to make a ghost face to say hello." "You shouldn't have done that, good try though." And actually he's been telling me something about his girlfriend as well, she's an artist, I insist whom Walter met during his job at Coles supermarket in town. <why hasn't it happened in my life yet? :(> We had a talk like about 1-2 hrs, which can be found in Walter's Stories, still. Then he went home, actually he should have been out of the store ages ago. My lonely quiet night started here, with as normal, drunk dudes more than beautiful chicks. (Unlike Jess's definition of 'girls' which always come out with middle-aged female punk, maybe that's a difference between our taste.) I didn't do much since the sun comes up to function coz newspaper readers are usually coming to give me a 5 dollar note for papers. I'm enjoying a short period of peace. Andrew came after me, which usually Bell do, coz Bell is in her holiday so I wouldn't be able to see her in four weeks, that's sad. Good news is Bell and Paul both have applied for the 2nd-in-charge at Rose Park, which I wished Bell can win. Anyway we'll see, coz Walter had the guess of the winner being Paul coz statistically he is the one more competitive. However the Canberra-based holiday-casualing store manager Andrew has a strong favour for Bell, he supported himself by pointing out the fact that "Paul talks, people down". Another thing surprised me yesterday was that finally I found out that Karim is half Japan, half Poland, yet his name derived from his mum's distinctive experience while working in Jordan. Let's call it a day, I'v got to learn more about "how to end an article" and there we go. |
