3月18日 Monkey MagicI eventually understood why Niko always yelling the word "Monkey" at me, I previously thought it was something funny in German-Australia culture, however I might still be right but only after the relevence to this world famous TV series - Monkey Magic - basically a Japanese-Made English-Dubbed Chinese Location-Shot story of Journey to the West back to 70s', saddly enough for the huge amount of patriots in my country only as it is Made-in-Japan.
And Monkey is basically Wu-Kong, and Ba-Jie's name in that series is Pigsy, which couldn't be more precise and politically correct, and Sandy is the one whom Chinese name him after Sha-Seng. However, I learned something else as Tang-Seng (Tang-Monk) is translated as the title Tripitaka, which could be too serious for a man's name, as ya might can find it as the original saying of San-Zang-Jing (of which is named with a groups of Buddism sutras) in Sanskrit - a language is seen as the originality of India, but now only use for liturgical purpose, coz not many ppl can speak or write in it.
According to Walter, that's part of everybody's childhood here, and I proved it with all my working mates, that's unbelievable for me. China has played such a huge influence since the childhood of western society, and Monkey obviously becomes the sign of this country far earlier than panda in children's eyes. 引用通告此日志的引用通告 URL 是: http://oglebalcony.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!794A41630B17A76!603.trak 引用此项的网络日志
